A very attentif choise of the space, a neogotic corridor, in which the seeting and the development of the many characters involved the public in the space distribution, between nobles and farmers, and in the middle where a small gipsy woman, designed by Giuseppe Andolfo,introduces the story.

In a baroque room at Biscari's Palace inCatania, with three elegant doors surmounted by vases and a marble bodice in the middle,(scene and costumes by Giuseppe Andolfo) and where stand out at the four corners huge candelabras and on stage two spanish fashion balconies, where the Ernesto's love affairs develop.
